The Standard

Here is the moment that Gilbert Graham passed the mantle of The Standard over to Alex Thomas and walked off into the sunset… hence where the title for the chapter comes from.  We wanted to make it ambiguous to leave readers thinking that the “sunset” in question might be Gilbert’s death, but thankfully that wasn’t the case!

This page is also significant in that it’s the final page to be drawn by Will Robson.  He got a nice, dramatic moment to finish up his run, at least!  I’ll just take this moment to once again thank Will for his hard work, and for coming in at a pinch and slipping seamlessly into an established team and doing stellar work.  I would love to work again with you one day!
