The Standard

This is perhaps the flashback where the Silver Age narration feels the most out of place, given that here we have a flashback without any real old comic book pastiche flourishes.  Here, we once again return to Zena Zarthos’ backstory, giving a glimpse at the young, idealistic prodigy Zena once was, showing how her cynicism and distrust was won by bitter experience.
