The Standard

Man, I had such a blast writing Gilbert Graham, what a goofball.  We decided that Gilbert makes his own sandwiches, so that little “xoxo” Post-It stuck on it is just his way of injecting a little positivity into his day… ’cause that’s the kinda guy our Gilbert is.  And you gotta love those big, blue, saucer-plate eyes Jon Rector gives him in that last panel.
