The Standard

Now, The Standard has been decisively defeated by The Dawn.  We’ve seen indicators that, emotionally, The Standard may no longer be able to cut it in the modern world.  But this is our first clear suggestion that, physically, he may not be able to keep up either.  While he may up until now have appeared as strong and hardy as ever, this disastrous battle perhaps works as an indicator that age catches up with everyone.
