What a fantastically rendered opening image, eh?  I think drawing this guy in the mech suit just about gave poor Jonathan Rector a nervous breakdown, with the insane level of detail he went into when bringing it to life.  I didn’t have the heart to tell him how often we’d be seeing it in upcoming issues!  Here’s a cool process video from back when Jon was drawing this page:
