The Standard

There’s not too much to be said about this page in isolation, as it mainly works when cast against tomorrow’s page.  So, I’ll talk a bit more about how the two of them work in unison tomorrow.

I will say, though, that it was fun doing that old-school Silver Age narration where the narrator would just tell the reader what they could already clearly see was happening on the page.  “Watch, as our hero punches a mofo in the face!”  And Jon is clearly having a ball doing his take on an Adam West BATMAN fight scene.
