This is another one of my favourite pages from this issue. If it seems a little ridiculous, don’t worry, that was intentional!
One of the best aspects of this page didn’t actually come from me at all. The flashback panel borders being made out of Zena’s cigarette smoke was a contribution made entirely by Jonathan Rector. In doing so, I believe he also added in a couple of additional panels to the scene, allowing more time for reaction shots and the like to enrichen the scene. The end result is a beautifully-constructed page.
