Following on from yesterday’s remarks about recurring elements of the series I greatly enjoyed, I must also mention how much I relished coming up with increasingly wacky, lame villains. And TV Man might just be the lamest. He was originally going to be a TV-themed villain called Network, but I decided that wasn’t cheesy enough, so I just went for TV Man. He has no powers beyond the fact that he puts a TV on his head. He’s a jabroni, but I love him. And he’s a character Jon Rector was born to draw!
I had fun with the little bit of business in panel 3, with the “evil” film crew. This was me poking a bit of fun of how, in the old comics, villains relished calling themselves evil.
